Nominated at the 2021 Junos in the Jazz Album of the Year: Group category, the Emie R Roussel Trio has made a name for itself internationally with its latest album, Rythme de passage. Winner of numerous awards over the years (Stingray Rising Star Award 2018, Félix at ADISQ 2015, Prix Opus 2014, Révélation Radio-Canada Jazz 2014-2015), the Emie R Roussel Trio has established itself as a staple of the current Canadian jazz scene and has been on the rise since 2010. The group has had the opportunity to present its music in 12 countries, on 4 continents in recent years. In April 2019, the Emie R Roussel Trio was honored to present an official showcase as part of JAZZAHEAD!
