A new instrumental and vocal work by Michel Gonneville based on poems by Pierre Morency, inspired by childhood and seasons. Words and music comment by turns on the lightness of youth and the torment of the adult in a show marked by nature. Short, lively piano pieces by Erik Satie are gracefully interlaced with the songs of Chansons du Bonhomme, performed by soloists and orchestra, revealing contrasts and unexpectedly related themes. Accompanying the musical performance will be projections of Satie’s humorous, handwritten texts alternating with Morency’s drawings.
