Come celebrate in Baroque style with the Cantata Singers and the Ottawa Baroque Consort. For our concert A German Baroque Christmas, our director Andrew McAnerney has selected the best of Christmas baroque music plus favourite hymns from the German tradition. We will elevate your spirits and transport you to the 17th century with Bach family motets and works by Praetorius, Buxtehude, and Pachebel, plus a selection of works by Heinrich Schütz on the 350th anniversary of his death.
