Two performances
1:00 – 1: 30: Accomplished organist Aaron James will perform an intriguing programme of Baroque music on an instrument well-suited to sensitive and informed performance.
4:00 – 4:30: Jean-Willy Kunz has created a very successful transcription of Saint-Saëns’ beloved Carnaval des animaux. He will perform this outdoors at a zoo on the new Bach-Mobile, which is used in and around Montreal to publicize the organ and the Canadian International Organ Competition (CIOC). This performance will also include poetry and engaging artwork.
All performances viewable on-demand till Sept. 30. Registration gives access to all concerts of the day. Daily passes include access to all the day’s events, including performances, workshops, masterclasses, and competitions. Visit the festival website for details.
