Kicking off the new Parallels series, Parallel 01 presents acclaimed New York-based pianist Uri Caine performing original compositions and improvisations in concert with a string quartet, and members of the Vancouver Electronic Ensemble.

In advance of the concert, a 2-day open rehearsal will take place on November 23 and 24 from 6-10PM. The open rehearsal process is FREE to attend, but as space is limited, participants are required to register in advance. Please email [email protected] for more information or to register.

Parallels is a Vancouver-based multi-organizational initiative that invites artists and community members to come together to share their interests, talents, ideas and creativity in a series that celebrates collaboration and improvisation.
