For nine years, Bravissimo! Opera’s Greatest Hits has dazzled new and seasoned opera lovers alike on New Year’s Eve! Come for a spectacular performance of opera highlights, and revel in a program steaming with love, jealousy, and betrayal featuring this year’s all Italian cast of couples: baritone Lucio Gallo returns this year with mezzo-soprano Diletta Rizzo, and soprano Donata D’Annuzio Lombardi joins star tenor Leonardo Caimi, backed by Opera Canada Symphony and Chorus. Hear your favourite arias, choruses and duets that withstand the test of time and are as bright and everlasting as the tradition of New Year’s Eve itself, including selections from La traviata, Magic Flute, Tosca, La bohème, Rigoletto,and more. The concert starts at 7PM and the final bows will usher you out well before 10PM to continue enjoying your New Year’s Eve celebrations!
